Upcoming Meetings & Current Events

The next Restoration Advisory Board meeting is scheduled for August 7, 2025, Cookstown Senior and Community Center; both in-person and virtual options for attending.  The Board meeting will be preceded by a Proposed Plan meeting at 6 pm.

A public comment period is open through November 18, 2024 on the Action Memorandum for Emergency Removal Action for PFOS and PFOA Impacted Drinking Water.  More information is available on the Community Involvement page of this website.

Overview

The Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst Environmental Restoration Program is an Air Force program that identifies, investigates and remediates past releases of hazardous substances, pollutants, and contaminants that originated from historical activities and operations.  The goal is to reduce risks to human health and the environment in a cost-effective manner that fosters community support.
