A Proposed Plan public meeting on the Lakehurst Rifle, Pistol, and Skeet Ranges is scheduled for October 22, 2026, 6:00 p.m. and will be followed by a meeting of the Restoration Advisory Board, Cookstown Senior and Community Center; both in-person and virtual options for attending.

Overview
The Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst Environmental Restoration Program is an Air Force program that identifies, investigates and remediates past releases of hazardous substances, pollutants, and contaminants that originated from historical activities and operations. The goal is to reduce risks to human health and the environment in a cost-effective manner that fosters community support.
